PICKENS COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – Pickens County leaders have rejected a request from the county’s only homeless shelter.
Shelter of Hope is set to move into the city of Pickens by the end of September. The shelter’s founders said that in order to operate the same way they’ve been operating, they need to be rezoned within city limits.
