Residents claimed that a military aircraft rattled homes and nerves as it soared over the mountain community of Wrightwood in the San Gabriel Mountains.
FlightAware marked the plane on Wednesday night as a C-130 tactical aircraft, which departed Miramar MCAS (Joe Foss Field) Airport in San Diego at 7:42 p.m. and headed toward the Pacific Ocean and Los Angeles. The Lockheed Martin KC-130J Super Hercules then proceeded just north of Lancaster, flew over the San Gabriel Mountains and Wrightwood.
