September 8 lemonade stand fundraiser will help Sierra College student Noah Whitaker replace his wheelchair-accessible van and regain his independence
Roseville, Calif. – When 20-year-old Sierra College student Noah Whitaker’s wheelchair-accessible van recently broke down, it put more than transportation on hold. It jeopardized his ability to get to medical appointments, many of them in the Bay Area, as well as school and everyday activities.
On September 8, the Roseville community will come together for “Let’s Get Noah a Van,” a daylong lemonade stand fundraiser at Rooftop Macarons in the Nugget Shopping Center. The event is being organized by Roseville Mayor Krista Bernasconi with community partners and supporters coming together to help Noah replace his van and regain his independence.
The fundraiser will feature lemonade, raffles, giveaways and concert ticket prizes, thanks to 98 Rock, with all proceeds going toward an accessible van for Noah…
