OKLAHOMA CITY – Scissortail Park, located in downtown Oklahoma City, debuted “People Watching,” the park’s newest art installation, Thursday.
“People Watching” features two larger-than-life scissortail flycatchers sitting on lampposts, watching over the lower park. The piece was designed by artist Matthew Mazzotta.
The scissortail flycatchers are constructed out of “steel, fiberglass and has an automotive paint over the whole thing and a clear coat so it can last many years.”…
