PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) – Two local teenagers and a woman who rushed to help are being honored for saving a father and his two young daughters from drowning in the East Fork Lewis River earlier this summer.
The three rescuers received awards Thursday from Clark-Cowlitz Fire Rescue during a ceremony at Station 21.
