A student brought a knife onto a school campus in Cherokee County, according to school officials.
The incident occurred at River Ridge High School, where administrators said they were made aware of the situation after school Thursday.
School officials said Cherokee County School District Police and local law enforcement partners immediately began investigating. No details were released about the student involved.
