Three suspects are facing multiple charges after police discovered drugs, weapons and an alleged illegal casino inside a Los Angeles County smoke shop on Thursday.
SWAT teams from the Whittier and Downey police departments, along with a Special Enforcement Team, served a narcotics- and weapons-related search warrant at a smoke shop in the 11400 block of Whittier Boulevard.
During the search, officers seized more than 46.2 grams of methamphetamine and cocaine. Investigators also recovered scales and other items commonly associated with narcotics sales, according to a Facebook post from the Whittier Police Department on Friday morning.
