Gov. Newsom Signs Huntington Beach Senator’s Student Health Bill

A bill by state Sen. Tony Strickland, R-Huntington Beach, aimed at promoting healthier habits among California students has been signed into law by Gov. Gavin Newsom, Strickland announced Friday.

Senate Bill 1133 is intended to give students information about how daily habits can affect their physical health, mental well-being and ability to learn.
