(FOX40.COM) — Two men were arrested in Oakdale after they allegedly participated in target shooting without taking proper safety measures, the Oakdale Police Department announced Friday.
According to officials, Oakdale officers responded to the 700 block of Wakefield Court at approximately 5 p.m. on Aug. 27, after a caller reported that bullets were “traveling toward their location.” Several rounds had struck the building, and more than 30 rounds of ammunition had been fired.
Upon arrival at the scene, officials say that a round of ammunition struck the pavement approximately two feet from an Oakdale officer. Officials then deployed an unmanned aerial vehicle to locate the source of the gunfire…
