PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – A man was stabbed multiple times Friday afternoon in Philadelphia, prompting an ongoing investigation by city detectives. No arrest had been announced as of Friday evening.
Officers were called to the 600 block of North 40th Street at approximately 4:02 p.m. for a reported stabbing, according to preliminary information released by police. They found an adult male suffering from multiple stab wounds throughout his body.
Police transported the victim to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment. He was listed in stable condition, according to investigators.
