SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A portion of northbound Interstates 5 and 805 will be closed overnight on Monday for roadwork, Caltrans announced.
All northbound lanes of I-5 and five lanes of northbound I-805 between Torrey Hills and University City will be closed from 9 p.m. on Monday to 5 a.m. on Tuesday for crews to work on striping.
The work is part of the Caltrans I-5 Asset Management Project, which aims to improve road safety and preserve existing infrastructure to meet current and future transportation needs, the department said.
