SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The man convicted in the 2025 shooting death of a 41-year-old was sentenced to Chatham County court Friday.
Nathaniel Leonard Lewis was found guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony in July.
Lewis was charged in the March 8, 2025, death of 41-year-old Benny Wright. Wright was found outside of a home on the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. at 4:40 a.m. the day of the shooting, officials said.
He was taken to an area hospital but ultimately died from his injuries…
