Cancer has a way of making the world suddenly smaller.
A diagnosis can shrink life down to appointments, test results, treatments and waiting. But it can also make something else abundantly clear: No one should have to go through it alone.
That is the heart of Lynnie’s Light for Life, the annual event created in memory of Lynn “Lynnie” Issacs Palan, a pioneer and leader in both Nishmah, the St. Louis Jewish Women’s Project and cancer support work at the Jewish Community Center.
