DENVER (KDVR) — A man was arrested for his alleged role in human trafficking, and investigators are seeking additional victims, according to a press release from Fort Collins Police Services on Friday morning.
In October 2024, Fort Collins police received a tip from the Laboratory to Combat Human Trafficking Hotline about a possible victim of human trafficking who had been living in Fort Collins.

An investigation was launched, and multiple witness and victim interviews were conducted across multiple jurisdictions.
Police said that the investigation uncovered that 56-year-old Jason Battaglia forced at least two victims to engage in commercial sexual activity for money or services on multiple occasions.
On Tuesday, Battaglia was arrested on charges, including:
- Two counts of felony human trafficking for sexual servitude
- Felony pimping
- Felony money laundering
- Felony pandering
