PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A hiker died on Friday afternoon after falling 400 feet, the Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Officials say the 70-year-old woman had fallen a half-mile up the trail around 1:45 p.m. near Horsetail Falls, located at 56600 E Historic Columbia River Hwy. The woman died from her injuries.
