HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — A Friday night collision involving a pickup truck and two motorcycles left two people dead and two others hospitalized, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 9:10 p.m. on August 28 at the intersection of US-41 and 24th Avenue South.
Troopers reported that a 44-year-old Ruskin man was driving a Chevy Colorado westbound on 24th Avenue South. At the intersection, the pickup truck made a left turn onto US-41 directly into the path of a northbound Kawasaki motorcycle.
