A Stanislaus County jury on Friday found an Atwater woman guilty of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting of her longtime partner inside a Ceres motel room.
Jurors convicted Zella Latrice Holmes, 41, of murdering Franklin Martin, 38, on Sept. 25, 2025, inside Room 230 of the Howard Johnson on Herndon Road.
