Turlock Mayor Amy Bublak used her annual State of Turlock address Thursday to highlight stronger city finances, fully staffed public safety departments and millions of dollars in road improvements, while acknowledging afterward that the city still faces a costly challenge with its sewer system.
Speaking before city employees, elected officials, business leaders and around 400 residents at Harvest Church’s Downtown Turlock Campus, Bublak said the city has rebuilt its financial reserves, invested heavily in infrastructure and reduced violent crime while trying to make city services more accessible.
