A stout defensive outing helped North Hills hand North Allegheny a 13-3 defeat on Friday, renweing a rivalry Indians’ head coach Eric Kasperowicz had been anxious to rejoin.
Kasperowicz was hired to coach his alma mater in January. North Allegheny leads the all-time series 30-27 in what used to be an annual matchup.
“It was kind of storybook,” Kasperowicz said. “Once I got the job, the first thing I wanted to do was get the rivalry back. I really didn’t think about if we had a chance to win. I really didn’t care.”…
