A Chula Vista mother is returning to Valle Lido Park this weekend for the fourth consecutive year, hoping someone will finally come forward with information in the unsolved killings of her son and step-grandson.
On Aug. 30, 2022, Joseph Arias, 22, and David Bruley, 42, were shot at Valle Lido Park, then drove down Brandywine Avenue where they crashed and eventually died.
Chula Vista Police at that time said witnesses reported seeing several other vehicles speeding out of the area immediately following the shooting. At that time, police did not identify any motive or suspects in the case…
