DUNKIRK, Md. — A 35-year-old Hyattsville man is facing a theft charge after a Calvert County sheriff’s deputy monitoring traffic on Route 4 allegedly clocked a Nissan traveling 79 mph in a 55-mph zone and later discovered the vehicle was displaying a West Virginia dealer plate reported stolen, according to court documents.
Alejandro Ambrosio-Carrera, 35, of Hyattsville, was arrested Aug. 22 and charged in Calvert County District Court with misdemeanor theft of property valued at less than $100.
