ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Every parent knows having a baby is costly. It’s even harder if you’re a teen, but there’s a special store that’s been helping them for decades.
Albuquerque teen Joshua Hilliard has a big responsibility of raising two babies on top of finishing high school. “It’s definitely been a blessing raising them and going to school and giving them better,” said Hilliard. He is one of the many students at New Futures High School, a place for teenage parents to finish their education.
On top of providing childcare for all the babies, New Futures High School also has a special store for parents. The “Dime Time” has everything a baby could need, from onesies to shoes to strollers and even toys.
