ANN ARBOR, MI – The University of Michigan’s massive new College of Pharmacy building is now complete, and for some students, staff and faculty, the 142,000-square-foot site is more than just space for upgraded classrooms and laboratories.
UM’s first mass-timber academic building, it’s the university’s latest symbol for its big-picture sustainability goals. It’s also noticeably convenient ― perched at the corner of Huron Street and Glen Avenue and a stone’s throw away from other program facilities tied to the university’s healthcare system.
And on Friday, Aug. 28, it was a source of celebration…
