Mister Burger is expanding from Buckhead to downtown Decatur in September 2026, taking over the former Casa Balam space on West Ponce de Leon Avenue.
The smashburger spot that opened in 2025 at 308 Pharr Road NE has built a following for late-night smashburgers on sesame-seed brioche buns, loaded fries, onion rings, and milkshakes (including a Biscoff version). The new location will occupy 201 W. Ponce de Leon Ave., the site previously occupied by Casa Balam, which closed over the summer after operating in the old Ted’s Montana Grill space.

Mister Burger is opening Friday, Sept. 11 with a grand opening weekend of deals, including free “single” smash burgers for all three days, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Mister Burger keeps the menu tight: Single Smash, Double Smash, and an Impossible version, all with grilled onions, pickles, cheese, and house sauce. Sides include seasoned fries (often ordered loaded with cheese, chopped patty, and sauce), nacho fries, and onion rings.
