(FOX40.COM) — An inmate from the Sacramento County Main Jail was pronounced dead yesterday after 11 days in a hospital, according to the sheriff’s office.
The inmate was sent to a hospital on Aug. 18 for a “higher level of medical care” at the request of the jail’s health officials, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
