DES MOINES, Iowa — According to the Greater Des Moines Partnership, the Downtown Farmers’ Market has closed early and the World Food and Music Festival is now delayed because of storms in Des Moines.
Just before 9:30 a.m. the farmers’ market was delayed because of “strong winds and severe weather” that passed through the Historic Court Avenue District. Market organizers urged patrons to seek shelter.
