LUBBOCK, Texas — The Lubbock Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit has identified the suspect in an assault that took place overnight on Saturday.
EverythingLubbock.compreviously reported that the unit was investigating an incident at an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Slide Road after reports of a civil disturbance. Upon arrival, an unconscious male was found with serious injuries and was later transported to UMC by EMS. An individual believed to be connected to the assault was taken into custody.

While the identity of the victim has yet to be confirmed by investigators due to the severity of his injuries, they were able to provide the identity of the suspect previously taken into custody. 23-year-old Lezhane Walker has since been charged with Aggravated Assault.
However, initial investigation revealed that Walker did not act alone and multiple individuals were involved in the assault of the unnamed victim. No further information has been provided at this time…
