Week 1 of the high school football season is full of surprises.
Teams have very little, if any, recent film on their opponents, meaning you never really know which players have taken a leap forward during the offseason. The Martin Tigers experienced one of those surprises during a 28-21 loss to the Holmes Huskies on Aug. 28 at Shirley Field.
