ALBANY, NY (WRGB) — As the battalion chief and DGS commissioner injured in a gas pump explosion on August 4th continue recovering from severe burns- and the investigation into the incident continues- the firefighter and first responder communities, as well as local businesses are coming together to support them.
Battalion Chief Wayne Brennan and DGS Supervisor Anthony Hughes were attempting to shut off the leaking pump when it exploded.
