Pennsylvania is expanding support for people affected by problem gambling.
The Department of Drug and Alcohol Programs (DDAP) said the Shapiro Administration is funding dedicated case management services for the first time in state history.

Case managers will help individuals and families navigate needs outside of treatment, including transportation, childcare, housing and employment. They can also help connect people with health care providers and financial resources.
Officials said the new service will help bridge the gap between treatment and the other barriers that can make recovery more difficult.
