Florida teen accused of threatening Kentucky schools via TikTok

MCCRACKEN COUNTY, Ky. (FOX 56) — A Florida teenager is facing charges after allegedly threatening a western Kentucky high school.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said they were alerted Aug. 29 to a threat directed at McCracken County High School that was communicated through TikTok.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Florida later contacted them and alerted the FBI to the threats. The FBI tracked the IP address to a 15-year-old boy in Lakeland, Florida.

The teen is now facing charges in Florida, including a written electronic threat of mass shooting or terrorism…
