MARENGO — The City of Marengo will continue the process of having “dangerous” dogs removed from a residence after denying an appeal by the owner.
The Marengo City Council voted 4-0 Aug. 26 to deny the appeal of Toni Gunningham to keep her dogs inside the city limits after the animals allegedly attacked several people over the past five years. The dogs are frequently unlicensed and unvaccinated, according to Marengo police.
