ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — A tropical disturbance designated Invest 97L is churning in the northern Gulf of Mexico, and National Hurricane Center forecasters have gradually increased its odds of tropical development as it drifts toward the Louisiana and Texas coasts.
