In July, the Public Interest Legal Foundation sued Denver Public Schools, alleging the state’s largest school district had redrawn the boundaries of its school board map with racial intent in April 2024.
Now, the case is moving forward. Magistrate Judge Scott T. Varholak has been assigned to pretrial matters, and District Judge Charlotte N. Sweeney will handle the case.
