Stark Parks has announced a full schedule of programs and events throughout September, with activities ranging from hiking challenges and guided nature walks to concerts, kayaking, beekeeping and family-friendly festivals.
The annual Stark Exploring Hiking Challenge begins Sept. 1. Participants who complete at least eight of the 12 designated trails will receive a 2026 hiking shield. Details are available at StarkParks.com/StarkExploring.
Ranger Walks continue Sept. 2 from 5-6 p.m. at Tam O’Shanter Park, where law enforcement park rangers will lead a one-mile hike discussing their careers, Stark Parks history and natural resources. Registration is required…
