For some, a trip to the Great Trail Festival has become more than an annual outing. It is a tradition that has lasted decades.
As the 45th annual festival opened Aug. 29 outside Malvern, longtime vendors, campers and visitors were among those filling the grounds for a weekend of traditional crafts, living history and entertainment.
