SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT — “Overwhelmed” was the reaction of veteran ESPN sports announcer Karl Ravech after being honored by Little League International before he called what is likely his last World Series game.
Ravech, who joined ESPN in 1993 after three years as a sports reporter and anchor at WHTM in Harrisburg, was laid off in July but was permitted to honor commitments including the Little League World Series that he has been doing since 2006.
