Authorities across the country are being urged to increase police patrols around Jewish schools, synagogues, and other institutions ahead of the Jewish High Holy Days as rising antisemitism has heightened security concerns in communities nationwide, the New York Post reported on Sunday.
The High Holy Days begin Sept. 11 with Rosh Hashanah, which this year coincides with the 25th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, which killed nearly 3,000 people in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania.
