PALM CITY — Mattamy Homes’ Newfield community in Martin County has earned Silver-Level Green Building Certification for land planning and development from the Florida Green Building Coalition.
The certification recognizes sustainable land planning, environmental stewardship and efforts to preserve Florida’s natural resources.
The Florida Green Land Development certification program evaluates communities on neighborhood planning and connectivity, conservation of natural resources, green infrastructure, community amenities and strategies intended to reduce environmental impact.
