Nearly 200 energy efficient townhomes to be built in Aurora in 3-to-4 years

The “Kingsley Row” subdivision homes, to be built near the intersection of Ogden Avenue and 75th Street, will exceed standard base building codes.

The Aurora City Council approved a plan that calls for each townhome to use less energy for heating, cooling, and lighting, plus improve indoor air quality.

As part of its agreement with the city of Aurora, the developer M/I Homes must submit a report showing its designs will meet energy-efficiency standards, and submit verification that the homes meet those energy standards after construction…
