Participants checked in at the Detroit Friendship House headquarters at 9540 Conant Street before completing the self-guided walking route, which was planned at a relaxed pace across central Hamtramck. The tasting stops included Polish Village Cafe, New Palace Bakery, Srodek’s Campau Quality Sausage, Amicci’s Pizza, Rema’s Restaurant, and Florian East, the last of which provided a complimentary beer sample to adult attendees, according to Daily Detroit.
