Teen charged in Twitch streamer party homicide may stand trial as adult

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) —  A teenaged boy who is charged with carrying out a deadly mass shooting at a Twitch streamer’s birthday party in Morgan Hill made his first court appearance Monday at the Juvenile Justice Courthouse.

The accused killer is a 17-year-old Salinas boy. He is charged with one count of murder and half a dozen counts of attempted murder. Officials did not release his name because he is a juvenile.
