Tech company buys San Jose buildings for potential expansion site

SAN JOSE — A tech company scooped up two North San Jose office and research buildings in a deal that adds to its footprint in the area, documents filed on Aug. 28 with the Santa Clara County Recorder’s Office show.

ISE Laboratories paid a combined $29.5 million for a 52,400-square-foot building at 1140 Ringwood Court and a 28,000-square-foot building at 1150 Ringwood Court, according to commercial real estate firm CBRE.

In 2023, the semiconductor testing company paid $24 million for an office and research building less than a mile away at 2201 Qume Dr., an expansion beyond its operations in Fremont, where it employs about 200 people at 46800 Bayside Parkway…
