ROHNERT PARK, CA — “On July 29, 2026, a patrol deputy was dispatched to the Graton Resort & Casino in Rohnert Park for a reported theft. The deputy learned that a lock securing a construction site had been cut and approximately $20,000 worth of copper electrical wire had been stolen. While on scene, the deputy was also informed of two previously unreported thefts which occurred on July 22, 2026. Approximately $25,000 worth of additional electrical wire and $30,000 worth of copper plumbing pipe had been stolen.
After reviewing security camera footage, the deputy determined that two men dressed as construction workers entered and exited the construction site in a white GMC pickup truck with its license plates removed.
The case was then assigned to detectives with the Property Crimes Investigations (PCI) Unit. Through their investigation, detectives were able to identify the GMC pickup truck used by the suspects…
