A Louisiana teenager who was charged with first-degree murder after her newborn baby was found dead inside a tote bag has been sentenced to remain in juvenile custody until she turns 21.
The girl, now 15, was sentenced to juvenile life by Judge Matthew Belser on Aug. 17, according to WAFB and WBRZ, citing the 21st Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
