An Indianola man is facing a felony charge after police responded to a report of a possible impaired driver last week.
According to a criminal complaint filed by the Indianola Police Department, 36-year-old Jordan Scott Reed is charged with operating while under the influence, third offense, a Class D felony.
The complaint says officers were called to the area of South R Street late last Saturday night after receiving a report of a possible impaired driver. According to police, officers located Reed in a Chevrolet Malibu that had sustained significant front-end damage, including damage to both front tires and rims. The complaint states Reed was initially unconscious in the driver’s seat and had difficulty getting out of the vehicle. Police allege Reed displayed signs of impairment, including an unsteady gait, watery eyes, slurred speech, and an odor of alcohol.
