KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A Kansas City man has been charged in federal court with being a felon in possession of ammunition.
Twenty-one-year-old Daron Fry was arrested on Aug. 25, 2026, on multiple outstanding Kansas City municipal warrants. During that arrest process, Fry consented to a search of his bedroom, court documents say.
That search resulted in officers finding 19 rounds of .40 caliber ammunition in his nightstand drawer. They also found an AR-style pistol and what appeared to be a 3D-printed device that functions as a converter of a semi-automatic gun into a fully automatic device…
