WAUWATOSA, Wis. (WFRV) – Police in southern Wisconsin are asking for the public’s help in identifying an attempted armed robbery suspect following an incident at a mall.
According to a release from the Wauwatosa Police Department, the incident happened on Friday, July 17 around 7:29 p.m. near the food court at the Mayfair Mall n 2500 North Mayfair Road.

Officials say the suspect pointed a firearm at the victim and demanded that the victim hand over their cell phone.
The suspect is described as a 16-18-year-old African American man, standing 5’10” and weighing an estimated 150 pounds. He is said to have an afro hairstyle and was seen during the incident wearing a black and white long-sleeve shirt, black shorts with white writing on the legs, black and white tennis shoes, and a black backpack with a shark teeth design.
