EUGENE — With Jeremiah McClellan, Evan Stewart and Dakorien Moore on the field making plays throughout a win over Boise State, the Oregon Ducks were without two wide receivers due to injury on Saturday.
Fifth-year UAB transfer Iverson Hooks and freshman Jalen Lott were both in street clothes for the Ducks’ opener. Hooks figured to be a key piece of Oregon’s wideout room, likely operating primarily out of the slot, and the talented former five-star Lott was pushing for snaps as well after a strong fall camp.
