After sitting empty for about 15 years, the former Pizza Hut building at 53rd Street N. and Maize Road has been torn down to make way for a Casey’s General Store.
Construction is scheduled to begin next week with an anticipated opening date of early 2027, a company spokesperson told The Eagle.
Casey’s is also adding convenience stores in Kechi and Bel Aire. The three new stores will bring the total number of Wichita-area Casey’s to 19. The company plans to add 400 stores nationwide in the next three years, according to Casey’s website and the company representative…
